trophies among the white-tailed deer and wild turkey that roam its private 14,000 acres - rated ashaving some of the finest hunting in the country. The hardwood bottomlands and pine ridges - the last stronghold for the whitetails and turkeys 50 years ago - lie along the scenic Tombigbee River in west central Alabama.
