Property Information:

  • Various hunting sites totaling over 9000 acres of privately owned and leased farms.  These farms consist of woodlands, rolling hills, creek and river bottoms.

  • Wildlife food plots are left for late season hunting

Hunting Seasons:
Archery Deer: October 1 - Mid January
 (with an occasional breaks for firearms season - muzzleloader & shotgun)
Spring Turkey Shotgun: April 14 - May 14

Permits:

Archery Deer Permits:  may be purchased over the counter or by application.

Habitat Stamps: $5.50 
(One either sex, one antlerless only - Deer Permit: $121.00)
Firearm Deer Permits:  Habitat Stamp: $5.50 
(Non-Resident)
Non Resident Deer Permit: $100.00 
Spring Shotgun Turkey Permits: issued by lottery only after February drawing
** Non-resident archery hunters should contact the ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES at their web site or call 1-217-782-7305 to request their application for a tag and habitat stamp before September 1, 2001. All information needed will be provided at the above web-site. 

Lodging:

  • Farm house available on property

  • Fully equipped kitchens, bathes, and bedrooms

  • Motel and Bed & Breakfast accommodations available nearby at additional cost

Reservations and Deposits:

  • A $150 Deposit is required for all hunters with balance due upon arrival

  • Reservations are required in advance to insure dates and facilities

  • Confirmation will be sent after deposit is accepted.

Typical Hunting Schedule:

Sunday (Day 1) - arrive around noon and scout
Monday (Day 2) - hunt
Tuesday (Day 3) - hunt
Wednesday (Day 4) - hunt
Thursday (Day 5) - hunt
Friday (Day 6) - hunt
Saturday (Day 7) - hunt & check out a.m.

Miscellaneous:

  • Guide service is not provided.

  • Hunters must provide own tree stands and hunting equipment

  • Hunters will be required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival.
